Rehabilitative Yoga
“Rehabilitative Yoga combines functional fitness, physical therapy principles, and adapts poses of traditional yoga to help students with everyday activities, pain management, flexibility, strengthening, breathing, and relaxation. As a Certified Yoga Tune Up® Teacher Rachelle can help her students navigate their own anatomy and assist each practitioner in their postures. In the classes, corrective exercise, self-care, conscious relaxation, and stress-reduction strategies will be utilized. Rehabilitative Yoga is appropriate for any ability level from beginners to advanced students. Class sizes are small in order to guarantee individualized attention.
Together a facilitation and discovery of an individualís “new normal” is implemented as you work towards physiological balance. It is the goal to have students walk out of class stronger, happier, and less-stressed.”
